Ok y’all, I don’t get in the habit of trashing other companies or businesses, because if you have a great product like the Bionic Band, it’s just not necessary. But lately, working a vendor booth at the past few shows, I had a few people come by our booth, telling us that they bought a product like the Bionic Band cheaper than what they would pay for a Bionic Band. Well, let me tell you that first of all, there IS no product like the Bionic Band family of products, and secondly, “cheaper” is the correct word for those other products, because “You get what you pay for.” I can say that without hesitation, because I know just how thoroughly the guys at Perfect World Solutions test their Bionic Band products. They test them very well, in many ways, to insure that we as distributors are selling a quality product that will last many years. One of the products we encountered from another company is made of a rubber-like material, with small holograms inserted. We knew that they had a booth at the Home shows, but we never got into the habit of saying anything negative about them. The only time we said anything about that product was when a customer asked us the difference. The customers told us that the other company was touting how their product would last forever and that ours would not. We purchased one of their products and when they asked us why, we told them, “We are going to kill it.” What I mean by that is that we planned on putting thier product through the same rigorous testing that Perfect World Solutions puts the Bionic Band products through. Well, we didn’t need any rigorous testing, because after only ONE day of being placed near a plasma screen, their product no longer worked. The way to test these products to see if they are still working is by doing the demos that we do at the shows. When we looked closely at their packaging, it stated that how long the product lasts depends on how it is used. There is no such statement on our products!! We have challenged that other company to try to “kill” one of our bands. They can try, but it’s not going to happen.
There’s another product out there that claims to do what the Bionic Band does. The particular product I saw was a leather strap with a small round metal piece underneath. A brand new one was ordered and tested, and IT NEVER DID WORK! I thought, I will give it the benefit of the doubt, as maybe it slipped out of the factory without being imprinted. Well, I got a chance to test another one this past weekend. While working the Home Show, a woman and her husband came by my booth. She was wearing a Bionic Band, and he was wearing one of the leather strap products. I tested the Bionic Band that the woman was wearing by doing the typical demos, and the band worked as expected, it gave a huge increase in strength and balance. I then tested the leather strap product, and there was no difference with or without the band on. The husband was disappointed, and stated, “Oh well, it looks nice.”
I really hate to see those people getting “taken” by other companies with inferior products. Whenever you come across someone wearing one of them at your vendor booths, don’t trash-talk the other companies. Just show the customer the demos, and in the rare cases that the other products are still working, give them your business card and simply inform them on how to test themselves. Tell them that when the other product no longer works, give you a call for a product that will not fail!
